Very friendly service from the moment you enter and upon leaving. Waiter was knowledgeable about menu items and offered suggestions. Kept tabs on us throughout the meal. Food was delicious and had great presentation. We sat near the window and had a great by view while dining. I enjoyed the music and atmosphere as well. Overall great dining experience!
This was a great dining experience. The views of the water are breathtaking, you feel like you're floating over the water when you're seated along the windows. Food was great, including the oysters. The only thing that fell a little short were the cocktails. A margarita was served in a simple water glass, and the old fashioned fell a little short. Otherwise this is 100% worth it.
The Rusty Scupper is a great "special-occasion" restaurant I would definitely go back to. It is situated on the Inner Harbor with spectacular views of the city--especially at night, when the buildings are lit up. It is very romantic if you are lucky enough to get a window table. As a Marylander, I judge a seafood restaurant by its crab cakes. After watching Rusty Scupper on TV we decided to pay them a visit. The Rusty Scupper's crab cakes were the best the same way that I've grown accustomed to. The butter cake is fantastic. This is not a restaurant for the casual diner, but a superb choice for a special occasion.
Great location and excellent view of the Inner Harbor! Very nice atmosphere throughout the restaurant. The food was good but a bit pricey for the quality. The mixed drinks were good but we've had much better martinis elsewhere. The service was very good. Bottom line, in my opinion, you are paying for the view and the atmosphere.
Hands down the best seafood restaurant in Baltimore. Always book a reservation when going to this place. Took my wife there and the food was amazing. The Blackened sea bass Maryland style and crab cake was exquisite. My wife had lobster and crab cake special. Food came fast and was very fresh. The service that we received was very good. Our server was very upbeat and very pleasant. He knew the menu like the back of his hand and even comped our champagne. Overall very pleasurable experience and relaxing atmosphere. You get what you pay for. For some, they would say it is expensive but I would not. It is a very high quality restraint with some of the freshest ingredients from around the would. Spend some money on good food and enjoy your self.
