I'm usually a reader and not a writer for reviews but this place! We just left and couldn't wait to write a review.. First Dave, our waiter, he was the BEST and great with our girls. Next the food was AMAZING.. crab cakes are the freshest ever. The meatballs that come with our little ones food, best I ever had. My soft shell crab sandwich, yum! The veggies are super fresh too. The G&M crush (drink) yum nice and light, perfect for lunch. The location is super clean and nice. Other staff members were also friendly and helpful. Too bad we live in Jersey but are super willing to come down for a date night or if a getaway trip is needed.
Horrible Experience! This was the worst experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant. It started with the gnats and flies hovering around the table. We moved to another table thinking it was maybe the section we were seated in, but turns out the place is just infested with gnats. The waitress who brought us out the food had the serving tray too close to her head so as leaned over her hair was touching in one of the plates of food. We asked to speak with the manager about our overall experience. It took him forever to come over and when he finally did, he was so nonchalant. He told us that the exterminator comes out once a month and that was the best he could do and proceeded to walk off. As the manager of a business that was totally unacceptable. I expected better customer service than what we received. We had to box everything up midway through the meal and leave. Although the was good, this was my first and last time dining here!
This place is top-notch. They should crab cakes all over the US. If you're going to buy the raw crab cakes to go do not get the individuals for 25 bucks a piece get the tub for $70 and then they give you an ice cream scooper with it so you can scoop out your own crab cakes at home. P. S. They come out very well if you bake them in mini cupcake tins or regular cupcake tins then they don't spread in the pan when baking.
That 8oz crab cake. OMG GOODT
The business was booming today! This was an impromptu stop. Order 662 was for 2 well done crab cake platter. Got. Home and realized both crab cake were wet inside not cooked to order!! Big disappointment. Haley, cashier wrote well done on the receipt as plain as day. I called GM immediately and John, a manager, told me, a native Marylander, that GM only makes their crab cake one way. It can not be made a different way. Lies. I was a sit in customer 3years ago, my crab cake was friend to well done. Stop giving brown/black customers 1/2 done(raw) crab cakes!!
